Please read what follows then click here for Daytime events and Events for both sailors and non sailors and then Book for events on the Social Events Booking Form
At Mundial 2007, there will be many evening events at RCNPP to which Competitors will have access with no further payment, and for which non-sailors will be required to purchase tickets at the time the helm and crew return their entry/inscription form for the Championship.
The ONLY event which Competitors will need to pay for, should they choose to attend, will be the Seafood Dinner. Payment for this event is required ahead also. The menu will include an aperitif on arrival, selection of starters including Mallorcan specialities per table, line caught hake in a saffron sauce with assorted vegetables, selection of desserts, white or red wine, cava, coffee, liqueur and chocolates.
Please note that some of the events have a seating limit, so if you will require additional tickets for non-sailors in your party, then it is advisable to ensure that your entry reaches us well ahead of the deadline.
Please indicate on the relevant booking forms if anyone in your party will require a special diet. We will try our best to accommodate this.
The separate Social Registration/introduction on Monday 4th June should ensure that any pre-purchased tickets do not go astray, and also that anyone who spends time on the RCNPP premises during the Championship will receive their identity tag. It is regretted that no-one may use the Swimming pool at RCNPP without wearing an identification tag. Tags will also be required to be worn during the evening events.
The RCNPP swimming pool will be available to competitors, once registration is completed, for the duration of the Championships; for non-sailors from the evening of 4th June. Towels for the pool are NOT provided
Anyone attending the regatta who plans to arrive after 4th June is asked to advise us accordingly. Please note that Registration will then take place at the Race Office on the dock and not at the Clubhouse Reception.
In the evenings, at the beginning of the Championships when there are no official events scheduled, a programme of ‘Restaurant of the day’ will be operating. These establishments will have agreed to set aside tables for our party, and visitors will be asked to sign up in the morning if they wish to take advantage of the scheme.
The restaurants will offer excellent value for money, and an interesting menu. They may be slightly more difficult to find, but will be worth the search. Anyone signing up for a place, is asked to honour their commitment to the restaurant, and turn up on time.
The organizing Committee for Mndial '07, hopes that you will enjoy your stay with us in Puerto Pollensa, and we look forward to meeting you in June.
